Finding The Perfect Business: 6 Key criteria

It seems that more and more people are interested in setting up their own small or home based business these days. Current figures indicate that, in the U.S. alone, more than 25,000,000 people on the basis of running a home business. And in case you think that many of these companies are run as a hobby, the figures show that over 5,000,000 of them have sales of more than $ 100,000. Not all of these Internet companies based on natural, but if you do business on the web, then the world oyster and you can multiply that many times American songs.



It is also worth considering that these numbers represent people who are currently involved in their own home based business. For each of those who have their business up and running there will be another 4 or 5 that "to think" - just looking for the right occasion. So given the huge number of people who want to run their own business and given the phenomenal power of the Internet as a communications / advertising medium, it is not surprising that you are constantly presented with business opportunities as you surf the net - is it? Some are completely illegal. Others are real business opportunities, although they would work well for others, are simply not suitable for you. However, hidden amidst the hype, the lies and the incredible dream, there are very real possibilities that can really change your life. You just have to know what to look for.



There is absolutely no sense to invest in a business opportunity, just because it is a beautiful, professional looking site, or because the sale of letters / e-mails are well written. Both could encourage you to investigate further, but they are not sufficient on their own. You certainly should not interfere with anything just because some guru tells you that the next big thing - the success of the famous guru, can be. There are 6 main criteria to be used when assessing a potential business opportunity.



Only this strict and you avoid nasty surprises - and you may well be the perfect solution for your business. 1. The company. You must work with people who can be trusted, and who will be around to pay you in the future. 2. Product. A good product is essential. Ask yourself if you would buy if you are not a distributor. 3. Payment of commission arrangements. What you get paid? When will I be paid? How you get paid? 4. The sales method. Are you comfortable with the sales method? Can your own ads? 5.



The level of manager required. This must be low. You would not waste your time to do paperwork? 6. The costs - both start and run. Is it affordable? Will others willing to invest when it is time to build your own team? Evaluate the above points before you sober up nothing. If you find it difficult to have enough information to make an assessment then that tells you everything you need to know. Avoid any opportunity that does not give you the facts up front.
